Ken To currently lives in Irvine, California with his wife and two kids. He completed his Bachelor of Arts degree in Accounting at California State University, Fullerton.

Ken discovered his passion for bonsai in 2007 and quickly learned that he had a talent for styling trees. He employs an aggressive styling philosophy and has a natural eye for beauty that has made him popular in the bonsai community. As a bonsai artist, he is widely known for his work with shohin and mame bonsai.

In 2010, he began working with wire tree sculptures, primarily as a way to hone his bonsai skills. He gained popularity as a sculptor when his sculptures were well received by bonsai collectors. News of his wire sculptures quickly spread, and after just one year, his sculptures were sought by collectors worldwide.

Ken’s sculptures standout because they strictly adhere to the principles of bonsai aesthetics and convey a continuous sense of movement throughout each piece. Every piece is painstakingly shaped by hand resulting in a unique and original piece every time.
